Monitor Down is maintained by Peter Kimmich, a wandering music journalist. He found his calling when he heard Siamese Dream streaming from a hole in a tree in an ancient forest in Romania during his nomadic worldly roamings. Not really, but he is certified by the National Association of Music Journalists, which, to the best of his knowledge, doesn’t actually exist. But he does have a resume.
